Engineering Year (PEY) Development Student:
Bruce Power is looking for dynamic, strategic and results-driven professionals to join our team in the role of Professional Engineering year (PEY) Student. Our opportunities are for Engineering students to join Bruce Power onsite for a period of 12-16 months. We have several exciting opportunities for students currently enrolled in an Engineering degree in a related discipline (Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Nuclear and Engineering Physics).
The need and desire for an integrated team approach is critical at Bruce Power as we continue on a journey of excellence that will help drive our business forward. PEY development students are placed across the business to support special projects and initiatives.
- Gather engineering data to analyze, identify and resolve business issues.
- Track, monitor and present metrics to improve the overall effectiveness and quality of data.
- Support Engineers in preparing technical evaluations, solving problems and coordinating technical work to support engineering and operational plans.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical documents such as equipment specifications, engineering calculations, installation, testing, operating and maintenance procedures.
- Provide assistance with monthly reporting cycle and related standards of documentation.
- Deliver an End of Term Presentation to members of the Engineering leadership team to showcase accomplishments and learnings from your co‑op term.
