Operating Room Nurse Meaford, Part-Time

Location: Meaford

Join Brightshores as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse in the Operating Room located in Meaford. Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing needs and efficiently managing surgical operations.

This role reports to the Manager and requires a current Ontario College of Nurses registration along with the Operating Room certificate. Ideal candidates will have two years of experience in the OR and strong teamwork and communication skills. Adaptability is essential as the work environment can change rapidly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' perioperative needs with precision

• Safely provide and maintain necessary surgical equipment

• Evaluate and document patient outcomes

• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team

• Handle urgent situations promptly and effectively

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Completed Operating Room certificate with two years of OR experience

• Ability to scrub in across all surgical services

• Familiarity with ORNAC standards and practices

• Readiness to handle on-call responsibilities
