Meaford Registered Nurse – Day Surgery​/PACU

Location: Meaford

Take on a rewarding part-time role as a Registered Nurse focusing on OR and PACU at Brightshores in Meaford.

In this temporary position, you will care for patients throughout the surgical experience in the operating room and post-anesthesia care. Your expertise will ensure adherence to patient safety standards and effective communication with the healthcare team. You will work collaboratively to support optimal recovery outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the OR and PACU settings

• Document patient care efficiently using Cerner applications

• Execute scrubbing and circulating duties during surgeries

• Engage in continuous professional development

• Support a culture of patient safety and collaboration

Requirements:

• Must have Ontario College of Nurses registration

• 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience

• Completion of the Post Anaesthetic Course

• Certification in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS

• Proven skills in patient assessment and leadership
