Registered Nurse In Day Surgery

Reporting to the Manager of Surgical Services, this role is vital in promoting health, assessing, and providing both supportive and therapeutic care during recovery phases for adults and children. Candidates require at least two years of PACU and acute care experience, along with a variety of specialized surgical skills including post‑anaesthetic and physical assessment training.

• Assess and provide care for patients in Phase I and II recovery
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety
• Participate in cross‑training for versatility in duties
• Maintain excellent communication with families and staff
• Adhere to Brightshores' CARE behaviours

• Ontario College of Nurses registration or eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
• Successful completion of a Post Anaesthetic Course
• Solid computer skills in Cerner and MS Outlook
• Commitment to continuous skilled development
