Position: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse Role

Join Brightshores in Wiarton as a part-time Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical/Complex Continuing Care department. This role focuses on health promotion and optimal patient care.

As a Registered Nurse, you will conduct assessments, provide treatments, and pursue patient education in a supportive environment.

Your role is crucial to maintaining patient safety and meeting evolving health needs. Your expertise in assessments, venipunctures, and critical care is fundamental to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and address patient health conditions in care plans

• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures

• Educate patients and families about health management

• Quickly adapt to changing patient requirements and scenarios

• Follow safety protocols to enhance overall patient well-being

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent experience in Medicine/Surgical or Critical Care

• Required BCLS and ACLS certifications

• Strong capabilities in autonomous work and communication

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient safety
