Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse - Endoscopy

Location: wiarton

Enhance patient care at Brightshores as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse in the Endoscopy Program located in Wiarton. Provide critical nursing care across all procedural phases to ensure patient safety and comfort.
As a key member of the integrated care team, you will report to the Program Manager, Ambulatory Services.

Your role involves supporting patients through pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care in endoscopy clinics. You'll collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care and improve procedural outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

• Collaborate with team members for quality patient outcomes

• Adapt to a changing work environment to meet unit needs

• Maintain effective communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements:

• Current registration with Ontario College of Nurses

• Perioperative nursing or AORN endoscopy certificate

• At least 1 year of endoscopy experience

• Ability to scrub and knowledge of ORNAC standards

• Proven communication and organizational skills
