Registered Nurse Critical Care

Join Brightshores in Owen Sound as a part-time Registered Nurse in Critical Care, focusing on the provision of care to critically ill adults. Your expertise will be vital in promoting patient health and recovery.

Reporting to the Manager of Critical Care and Respiratory Therapy, you'll leverage your 3 years of critical care experience to provide essential therapeutic interventions. Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills are crucial for this role as you collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments for critically ill patients

• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery

• Communicate effectively with patients and families

• Participate in safety initiatives and unit meetings

• Meet certification and training requirements promptly

Requirements:

• Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• A minimum of 3 years in Critical Care

• Current certifications in Critical Care, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS

• Proven critical thinking and emergency response ability

• Commitment to continuous education and collaborative practice
