Addiction Nurse Coordinator

Step into a full-time Nurse Coordinator position for Mental Health & Addictions in Owen Sound. Drive care delivery excellence while focusing on addiction medicine and patient coordination.
In this role, you will report to the Outpatient Mental Health and Addictions Manager, leading clinical operations with a focus on substance use treatment. Responsibilities include scheduling staff, coordinating daily care delivery, and maintaining supplies while modeling best practices. Your position requires effective communication with both hospital departments and community partners to support optimal patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical leadership in addiction medicine

• Coordinate staff scheduling and daily assignments

• Ensure adequate supplies for patient care

• Foster effective multi-disciplinary team communication

• Support clients and families with care coordination
Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with provincial license in Ontario

• Recent experience in a leadership/coordinator role

• Skilled in addiction medicine and withdrawal management

• Excellent leadership and problem-solving capabilities
