Exciting opportunity at Brightshores for a Registered Nurse specializing in critical care within the Emergency Department, Meaford. This part-time, temporary role challenges you to provide essential care to critically ill patients of all ages.

As a crucial member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and supporting patients through various health challenges. Reporting to the Manager, your skills will help establish a safe and effective environment in the face of urgent healthcare needs, while advocating for patient safety and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess emergency situations and prioritize care delivery

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Mentor and support new nursing staff

• Complete training and engage in departmental projects

• Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols

Requirements:

• Active Ontario College of Nurses registration or eligibility

• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS

• Emergency room or critical care experience (12-24 months)

• Strong assessment and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to ongoing education in nursing
