Casual RPN in Owen Sound Rehabilitation

Join Brightshores as a Casual Registered Practical Nurse focused on rehabilitation in Owen Sound. Deliver patient-centered care that enhances recovery, mobility, and overall health outcomes.

As part of the Rehabilitation Department, you will be involved in the assessment and therapeutic treatment of patients. This role emphasizes collaboration with families and healthcare professionals to promote recovery and maximize patient independence. Work effectively within the full professional scope of practice as defined by the CNO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop patient care plans

• Provide therapeutic treatments and support to patients

• Educate patients and families on health management

• Collaborate on quality improvement projects in the unit

• Utilize Power Chart for documentation and orders

Requirements:

• Registration or eligibility with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation within the last three years

• Certification in Functional Independence Measure (FIM)

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Adherence to Brightshores' CARE Behaviours
