Part Time Registered Nurse

Enhance resident care as a Registered Nurse with Southbridge Owen Sound, Ontario. In this part-time evening role, you will support medication administration and resident assessments.

As a pivotal part of the Southbridge team, you will oversee nursing standards, implement care plans, and evaluate nursing practices. Your experience in managing nursing staff, coupled with your deep commitment to senior care, will ensure excellence in resident care. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in accordance with nursing standards and physicians’ orders

• Assist in developing and implementing resident care plans

• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance

• Prepare the facility for RAI MDS assessments

• Manage the facility in the absence of the Director of Care

Requirements:

• Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario

• Current First Aid and BLS Certificate

• Previous managerial experience in long-term care preferred

• Negative vulnerable sector check within 6 months
