Position: Full-Time Registered Nurse Float Pool
Brightshores Health System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Float Pool in Owen Sound. This position offers diverse responsibilities providing care across various patient units.

As a key member of the nursing team, the Float Pool Registered Nurse will adapt to various clinical areas and deliver high-quality nursing care. Strong competencies in medical-surgical nursing, effective communication, and patient education are key for this role. You'll have the chance to improve patient outcomes in a flexible work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in assigned units

• Assess patient health status and develop care plans

• Perform venipunctures and manage IV medications

• Ensure safety and quality in patient care practices

• Offer health education to patients and families

Requirements:

• Membership with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent experience in medical-surgical settings

• Certifications in BCLS and ECG interpretation

• Self-directed work ethic with minimal supervision

• Commitment to professional growth and patient safety
