Position: Mental Health Registered Practical Nurse Role
Shape the future of mental health care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Brightshores in Owen Sound. Focus on patient-centered care within a supportive, interdisciplinary team.

In this part-time role, you will collaborate closely with the Inpatient Mental Health team to provide exceptional care and treatment. Recent psychiatric nursing experience is essential, as is a thorough understanding of mental health regulations and assessment protocols to support processes that benefit patient health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in providing patient care focused on recovery

• Execute psychosocial and risk assessments

• Facilitate inpatient therapeutic groups and activities

• Manage medication protocols and deliver effective therapy

• Work any scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays

Requirements:

• Registered with Ontario College of Nurses

• Certificate in Psychiatric Nursing or equivalent education

• Recent experience in psychiatric nursing is necessary

• Strong decision-making and assessment capabilities

• Continuous commitment to professional development and patient safety
