Position: Nursing Role at Southbridge Owen Sound
Support resident wellbeing as a Registered Nurse at Southbridge Owen Sound. This part-time evening role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care and assessments.

As part of our dedicated team, you will play a critical role in adhering to established nursing standards while implementing care plans and evaluating nursing staff performance. Your leadership skills will be crucial in guiding the nursing team and enhancing the quality of care provided by our long-term care home. Collaborate actively in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver care in line with nursing standards and policies

• Develop and implement resident care plans and monitor health changes

• Lead and evaluate nursing staff while onboarding new personnel

• Prepare the facility for RAI MDS evaluations

• Take command of the facility in the absence of leadership

Requirements:

• Current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate

• Eligible for Registered Nurses Association of Ontario registration

• Hold a current First Aid and BLS Certificate

• Preferred experience in long-term care management

• Completion of a TB skin test recently
