Join Brightshores as a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency care. This role demands expertise in critical patient assessment and support, ensuring optimal function and safety for patients of all ages.

Reporting to the Manager, you will provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, treatment, and rehabilitative practices. Your emergency department experience will be crucial as you engage with critically ill adults, children, and infants. Demonstrating leadership qualities, you will collaborate with healthcare teams and mentor new staff while ensuring patient safety practices are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote health and provide emergency care to diverse patient populations

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care effectively

• Demonstrate emergency nursing processes during patient assessments

• Uphold Brightshores ‘CARE’ Behaviours and safety practices

• Participate in continuous professional development initiatives

Requirements:

• Registered with the Ontario College of Nurses or eligible

• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS

• 12-24 months emergency room or critical care experience

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to remain calm in crisis situations
