Position: Full-Time Registered Nurse at Brightshores

Become a key player at Brightshores by providing comprehensive nursing care as a Registered Nurse in Meaford. This full-time, temporary role caters to patients in the Operating Room, Day Surgery, and PACU settings.

This position reports directly to the Manager and requires expertise in the perioperative field. You will support patients' preventive and therapeutic care needs while utilizing advanced nursing skills. The role entails responsibilities in surgical care, with a particular focus on collaboration and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care in the Operating Room and PACU

• Monitor and assess patient conditions pre and post-surgery

• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards

• Stay informed on ORNAC standards and departmental protocols

Requirements:

• Registered with the Ontario College of Nurses

• 2+ years OR and PACU nursing experience

• Completion of relevant nursing certificates

• Proficiency in MS Outlook and Cerner applications

• Strong communication and leadership skills
