Registered Practical Nurse

As a full-time Registered Practical Nurse, you will report to the Critical Care Manager and work in an inter-disciplinary group.

Your role encompasses nursing assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals with stable conditions. The position demands a commitment to continuous professional development and interaction with patients, families, and fellow healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan patient care collaboratively within the team

• Implement care strategies based on patient evaluations

• Manage patient assignments and organizational tasks

• Provide health education to patients and families

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Credentials in nursing from an accredited program

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Two years of recent acute care nursing experience

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Commitment to further education and patient safety
