Registered Nurse - OR and PACU Roles

Location: Meaford

In this position, you will manage surgical patient care requirements, reporting to the Manager. Your responsibilities will include providing preventative and supportive care as well as performing physical assessments. This role demands a strong foundation in nursing, flexibility, and teamwork to enhance patient safety and care quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in surgical areas

• Conduct thorough assessments and monitor vitals

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for best practices

• Ensure safety protocols and compliance with standards

• Participate in continuous professional development and educator roles

Requirements:

• Current Ontario nursing registration or eligibility

• Minimum 2 years of PACU nursing experience

• Successful completion of Operating Room and Post Anaesthetic Courses

• Strong IT skills, particularly in Cerner applications

• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
