Meaford Registered Nurse for OR and PACU

Location: Meaford

Join Brightshores as a Registered Nurse dedicated to the OR, Day Surgery, and PACU in Meaford. This full-time temporary position aims to optimize patient care and surgical outcomes.

You will report to the department manager while taking charge of supportive, preventive, and therapeutic nursing care for patients throughout the surgical process. As a qualified nurse, your expertise will foster a safe environment focused on patient well-being and excellent collaboration with healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing interventions in surgery

• Perform patient assessments and manage post-operative care

• Actively participate in health and safety compliance measures

• Engage in team-based decision making for patient care

• Document and report patient changes using Cerner applications

Requirements:

• Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in PACU

• Relevant certifications in Nursing and physical assessment

• Proficient in MS Outlook and Cerner systems

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
