Due to Ontario Long-Term Care regulations, candidates must have the following documents before starting shifts.

Candidates who already have complete compliance documentation will be prioritized for upcoming shifts.

Required Compliance

Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - issued within the last 6 months

2-Step TB Test - issued within the last 6 months

COVID-19 Vaccination Proof

Influenza Vaccination Proof (current season)

RN Diploma

CNO registration number

CPR and 1st Aid

N95 Mask Fit Test

WHMIS Certificate

Worker Health & Safety Awareness (WHSA) Certificate

Government-issued

Key Responsibilities

Act as the  Charge Nurse  responsible for the coordination of resident care on the unit

Provide clinical leadership and guidance to RPNs, PSWs, and other care staff

Assess residents and respond to changes in health status

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Ensure proper documentation and adherence to LTC policies and procedures

Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Support infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices

Ensure safe, high-quality resident care and compliance with LTC regulations

What We Look For

Current  Registered Nurse (RN) license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

Experience working in  Long-Term Care or geriatric care

Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Reliability and professionalism

Ability to work independently and lead a team

Commitment to resident-centered care
