Registered Nurse

Position: Full-Time Registered Nurse
Make a difference in healthcare as a full-time Registered Nurse at Brightshores in Owen Sound. This temporary position emphasizes critical care for adults, children, and infants.

As a Registered Nurse, you will report to the Manager and provide essential health assessments, treatment, and care. You'll apply supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative measures in the Emergency department. Candidates need to demonstrate emergency nursing processes and have emergency room or critical care experience, along with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate emergency patients effectively

• Provide critical care treatment to adults and children

• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations

• Mentor new staff and participate in team projects

• Promote a culture of patient safety and quality care

Requirements:

• Ontario College of Nurses registration or eligibility

• Minimum 12-24 months emergency/critical care experience

• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to continuous professional development
