Registered Nurse in Critical Care

Step into a critical role as a Registered Nurse at Brightshores in Owen Sound, dedicated to the care of critically ill patients. This full-time, temporary position is vital to health promotion and recovery.

Reporting to the Manager of Critical Care and Respiratory Therapy, you will utilize your critical care experience and certifications to provide exceptional nursing services for adults and some children facing severe health challenges. You will contribute to a culture of patient safety while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance care effectiveness and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and assessment for critical patients

• Administer preventative and therapeutic treatments

• Participate actively in team meetings and unit projects

• Maintain high standards of communication and service

• Uphold patient safety and health regulations

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Three years of current critical care experience

• Required BCLS and ACLS certifications

• Willingness to obtain PALS certification

• Dedication to ongoing professional development
