Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse

Join Brightshores as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse in Owen Sound, focusing on the rehabilitation of patients with diverse health conditions. Your expertise in patient care will be crucial in helping maximize their recovery.

As a part-time, temporary RPN, you'll report to the Manager of Rehabilitation, providing assessment and therapeutic treatment to rehabilitative patients. Collaborating with families and professionals, your efforts will help achieve optimal patient outcomes in mobility, strength, and cognition while adhering to the CNO's professional scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide care to rehabilitative patients

• Collaborate with families and healthcare team members

• Implement therapeutic interventions for optimal outcomes

• Support patient education and self-management strategies

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Recent RPN experience in inpatient rehabilitation

• Completion of NDT course and dysphagia screening

• Medication and intravenous certification

• Strong communication and organizational skills
