Registered Nurse

Position: Full Time Registered Nurse
Join Brightshores Health System as a Full Time Registered Nurse in Owen Sound, providing essential nursing care across various units. Your expertise will be fundamental in promoting health and supporting patient needs during every shift.

As a member of the Float Pool, you will deliver direct nursing care to diverse patients within the hospital. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to transition between units based on patient demands. Your proactive approach in assessment, care provision, and patient education will enhance health outcomes across multiple settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in assigned units

• Adapt to changing patient acuity and census

• Perform physical assessments and IV medications

• Educate patients on health promotion

• Participate in problem-solving and decision-making

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent Medical-Surgical experience

• BCLS and ECG interpretation certification

• Experience with central line care and PCA pumps

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
