Due to Ontario Long-Term Care regulations, candidates must have the following documents before starting shifts.

Candidates who already have complete compliance documentation will be prioritized for upcoming shifts.

  • Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - issued within the last 6 months
  • 2-Step TB Test - issued within the last 6 months
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Proof
  • Influenza Vaccination Proof (current season)
  • RN Diploma
  • CNO registration number
  • CPR and 1st Aid
  • N95 Mask Fit Test
  • WHMIS Certificate
  • Worker Health & Safety Awareness (WHSA) Certificate
  • Government-issued
  • 3 Professional References

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Charge Nurse responsible for the coordination of resident care on the unit
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to RPNs, PSWs, and other care staff
  • Assess residents and respond to changes in health status
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

    Ensure proper documentation and adherence to LTC policies and procedures
  • Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Support infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices
  • Ensure safe, high-quality resident care and compliance with LTC regulations
What We Look For
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Experience working in Long-Term Care or geriatric care
  • Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
  • Commitment to resident-centered care
