Registered Nurse - RN

Pay Rate: 40-45 CAD/Hr

IMPORTANT - Compliance RequirementsDue to Ontario Long-Term Care regulations, candidates must have the following documents before starting shifts.
Candidates who already have complete compliance documentation will be prioritized for upcoming shifts.
Required Compliance- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - issued within the last 6 months
- 2-Step TB Test - issued within the last 6 months
- COVID-19 Vaccination Proof
- Influenza Vaccination Proof (current season)
- RN Diploma
- CNO registration number
- CPR and 1st Aid
- N95 Mask Fit Test
- WHMIS Certificate
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness (WHSA) Certificate
- Government-issued
- 3 Professional References
Successful applicants will be added to our Talent Pool. When opportunities arise for full-time, part-time, or casual shifts at our partner's long-term care homes in your area, we will contact qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the Charge Nurse responsible for the coordination of resident care on the unit
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to RPNs, PSWs, and other care staff
- Assess residents and respond to changes in health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to LTC policies and procedures - Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices
- Ensure safe, high-quality resident care and compliance with LTC regulations
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Experience working in Long-Term Care or geriatric care
- Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliability and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- Commitment to resident-centered care
