Position: Part-Time Nursing Role at Brightshores
Elevate patient care standards as a part-time Registered Nurse in the Day Surgery & PACU department at Brightshores, Owen Sound. Ensure safe and effective recovery for adult and pediatric patients each shift.

This part-time temporary position involves patient assessment and care in recovery phases I and II under the guidance of the Manager Surgical Services. Applicants must have extensive PACU and acute care nursing experience, showcasing excellent communication and assessment skills, and a drive for professional development. Enhance patient safety and satisfaction through dedicated care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during recovery

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and interventions

• Record and manage patient data accurately

• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams

• Uphold standards of safety and quality care

Requirements:

• Registered with Ontario College of Nurses

• At least 2 years of PACU and surgical experience

• Post Anaesthetic Course completed within last 3 years

• Strong commitment to ongoing education

• Skills in collaboration and problem-solving
