Location: Southampton

Join the healthcare team in Southampton as a Registered Practical Nurse.

Your role will focus on patient care, health assessments, and therapeutic treatments in a part-time capacity.

The Registered Practical Nurse reports to the site Manager and delivers comprehensive care through supportive, preventative, and rehabilitative means. Ideal candidates will have current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and are expected to embrace continuous professional development. This position emphasizes collaboration, critical thinking, and effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and promote health conditions for optimal patient function

• Provide patient care through care plans and treatments

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient safety

• Participate in unit-specific projects and staff meetings

• Escort patients as required via ambulance services

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Leadership and decision-making skills

• Ability to work various shifts and in Emergency

• Commitment to continuous education and quality improvement

• Basic computer skills and palliative care experience preferred
