Outpatient Mental Health Nurse

As a member of the Assertive Community Treatment Team, you will implement services for individuals facing significant mental health concerns. You will handle a caseload while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care across Grey and Bruce Counties. Experience in crisis intervention and substance-use issues is key for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor mental health services for clients

• Manage a caseload while collaborating with team members

• Provide counselling, advocacy, and education to families

• Conduct psychosocial and mental status assessments

• Engage in crisis intervention and emergency psychiatry

Requirements:

• Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Minimum two years in outpatient mental health

• Experience with substance-use and concurrent disorders

• Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle

• Knowledge of DSM-5 and Mental Health Act
