Talon Recruiting has partnered with a leading farm equipment dealer in search of an Account Manager to join their team based in Meaford, ON. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment with a strong potential for future growth and career advancement.
We are seeking motivated and results‑driven Account Manager(s) to join our dynamic Sales team, supporting various locations in Grey‑Bruce, Wellington and Huron counties. The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored equipment solutions and services.
Role & Responsibilities- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries – Agriculture, Construction, Residential & Commercial.
- Provide product and service solutions to meet client needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Coordinate and facilitate product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of equipment and services.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and generate regular sales reports.
- Perform extensive research to discover and understand new and existing products.
- Attend trade shows, client meetings, and site visits as required.
- Completion of high school or vocational equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position related to sales.
- Experience in high volume sales prospecting/lead generation.
- Must have a working knowledge of agricultural, construction and residential practices and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand technical products and convey value to clients.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and goal‑oriented.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of Intelli Dealer, Salesforce and other manufacturer portals is considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally/regionally as needed.
