Join our Fire Department in Meaford as a dedicated Fire Fighter. Engage in essential firefighting duties and emergency responses at the Army Training Centre.

In this full-time role, you will work closely with the Fire Chief while focusing on fire prevention and emergency response tasks. This position requires strong commitment, collaboration, and a passion for community safety as you handle various emergencies, maintain firefighting equipment, and comply with industry regulations. Your proactive involvement is crucial for ensuring operational readiness within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to auto extrication and Hazmat emergencies

• Conduct inspections of firefighting apparatus and facilities

• Maintain firefighting tools and equipment

• Perform Inspection and Testing Maintenance (ITM)

• Adhere strictly to fire service policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma essential

• Two years of experience in fire service

• Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED level C certification

• Clean driver’s abstract required

• Must achieve Level 2 security clearance
