Senior Structural Engineer

We’re hiring:
Senior Structural Engineer, Lexington or Louisville, KY

Thoroughbred is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead projects, build client relationships, and help grow our structural practice. As a multi-discipline firm with civil, geotechnical, architecture, survey, inspections, and construction under one roof, we offer a chance to work as Engineer of Record with full in-house project support.

What you’ll do:

• Lead structural design and analysis across steel, concrete, masonry, and wood for new construction, renovations, and assessments
• Manage projects from scope and fee through design, permitting, and construction
• Serve as Engineer of Record and primary client contact
• Mentor engineers and provide QA/QC on deliverables
• Help win new work through proposals, client meetings, and business development

What we’re looking for:

• P.E. required; S.E. preferred
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience
• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering (MS preferred)
• Proven project management, client management, and mentoring experience

This is a senior role for someone who wants to lead technically and help shape the future of our structural group.
