We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY, 40223. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal components, ensuring high-quality standards and safety practices are met. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Assemble metal structures and components with precision and attention to detail.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet project deadlines.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in welding preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient in various welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a welding environment.

You should be proficient in:

• Troubleshooting Skills
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Welding Setups for Production
• Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• MIG Welder
• Flux-Cored Arc Welder

Salary info:

$27 - $30 / hr
