Direct Support Professional; Early- Shift

Wendell Foster is interested in hiring energetic Direct Support Professionals for our Intermediate Care Facility to join the team of #Difference Makers!

• Hours- 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM 📆
  
  Schedule:
  
  8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• New hourly rate starting at $16.00
• 4AM-6AM hourly differential of $2.00
• Overtime availability
• 8 paid holidays each year
• Double time pay for holiday hours worked

• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Possession of valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Currently possess or able to complete first aid and CPR certification (training provided)
• Communicate well with others including staff and our individuals

Support our individuals direct care needs including, but not limited to:

• Getting dressed, assisting with baths and showering, toileting and hygiene needs, feeding, Assist with walking and/or wheelchair mobility, occasionally preparing meals and snacks per dietary card
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
• Understand individual’s rights and display respect and dignity when interacting with individuals.
• Frequently lift and/or move 50lbs; occasionally lift and/or move 75lbs while assisting a person with movement or direct care
