Join the Swedish Match affiliate of PMI as a Chemical Analyst and contribute to our mission of delivering a smoke‑free future. Your day‑to‑day work will involve analytical chemistry in a regulated laboratory environment.

• Perform analyses using gas chromatography, ultra‑high‑pressure chromatography, and ion chromatography.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderly arrangement of the analytical laboratory.
• Support Sr. Analytical Chemist, Analytical Chemist, Sr. Chemical Analyst, and Chemical Analyst.
• Keep accurate records of assigned projects.
• Apply ISO 17025 Standard requirements.
• Work additional or different shifts as required.
• Provide support to Production, Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Leaf Operations.
• Validate methods and procedures.
• Lead special projects directed by the Chemical Analysis Supervisor/Manager.
• Prepare samples and extraction per written SOP.
• Author written SOPs for validated methods and procedures.
• Perform routine and non‑routine microbiology testing.
• Interpret, review, and report analytical results using LIMS.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Laboratory Technician or comparable position.
• Knowledge of chemical laboratory safety, analytical procedures, and methodologies.
• Experience with microbiological procedures and equipment; ability to prepare concise and accurate reports.
• Availability to work the 3rd shift (12:00 am–8:30 am).

$64,300 Annual Base Salary
