Position: Customer Service Manager (I-III)

Customer Service Manager (I-III)

Farmers & Merchants Bank is seeking a Customer Service Manager (I-III) to provide quality and efficiency to customers who prefer face‑to‑face interaction with the bank. This role will have a thorough understanding of customers’ financial needs and be able to effectively communicate appropriate products and services that match those needs. Responsibilities include supporting all daily branch operations, ensuring timely and efficient completion of client transactions, maintaining accurate records, and handling all monies with proper procedures.

  • Work on assignments that are semi‑routine in nature, such as cash handling and common customer maintenance requests.
  • Receive detailed instructions for routine work and new assignments.
  • Accept and accurately process all financial transactions.
  • Maintain responsibility for a cash drawer and follow proper balancing procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering and assisting customers’ questions and concerns.
  • Takes personal initiative and serves as a positive example for others.
  • Actively learn, demonstrate, and foster the Farmers & Merchants Bank values of community banking.
  • Perform duties with quality, meeting deadlines with or without supervision and working effectively as a team contributor and independently.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Up to 2 years of customer service experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi‑task effectively.
  • Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player with an energetic, positive attitude.
  • Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
  • PC proficient; competent with Microsoft Office – Windows, Word, and Excel.

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
