Position: Land Development Civil Engineer (II)
STV is currently seeking a

** Owings Mills, MD**, which is currently the civil engineer of record for such high-profile projects as Harborplace and Baltimore Peninsula in Baltimore, MD. The candidate will collaborate on a wide variety of projects including conceptual master plans, schools, mixed-use, office buildings, industrial buildings, housing/apartment projects, commercial buildings, and civil/site structures. The position will allow the individual to collaborate with our civil design team preparing documents associated with a wide variety of land development projects within the Baltimore Metropolitan area.

The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and be a licensed professional engineer.

Experience with Micro Station, Civil 3D or AutoCAD is strongly preferred. This role is an excellent opportunity for an early to mid-career engineer to:

Work on high-profile projects in education, mixed-use, commercial, industrial, and institutional development. Gain hands-on experience in grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting. Enhance design skills with mentorship and support from senior engineers and project managers.
** Key Responsibilities
** Utilize design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Station; Hydro

CAD; Hydraflow Hydrographs and ArcGIS) to create   construction drawings, layouts, and models for land development projects. Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress.
** Qualifications
* * 7+ years of experience in civil/site design, land development, or a related field.

Familiarity with site development principles, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion/sediment control. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Micro Station Arc GIS and Hydraflow Hydrographs, Hydro

CAD experience preferred but not required.

Ability to lead permitting processes in Maryland jurisdictions (Baltimore City experience a plus).Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to progress multiple projects simultaneously. Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and team collaboration. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
