Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
As an RBT, you’ll provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. You’ll work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a collaborative care team to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care. We provide paid training and cover the cost of your RBT exam.
What You’ll Do- Deliver individualized therapy sessions in‑home or clinic‑based.
- Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans.
- Use electronic tools such as Central Reach to conduct preference assessments and track data.
- Collaborate in clinical meetings and receive ongoing feedback and supervision.
- Maintain program books and develop teaching materials.
- Communicate progress to parents and caregivers.
- Provide basic care (e.g., toileting, eating) as needed.
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation (travel up to 20 miles from home to service location).
- RBT certification is preferred but not required. Positive, motivated, and eager to learn candidates will receive training and support.
- Prior experience working with children—ASD experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
- Physically able to perform job duties (kneeling, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs., moving with children).
This position provides services in a clinical setting at our Owings Mills, MD clinic. The role involves working on‑site as part of a collaborative team, with access to supervision, peer support, and clinic‑based resources in a structured environment.
Shift HoursWe seek candidates available during the 9:00 A–5:00 P time block a minimum of four days per week. The role is expected to offer roughly 30–40 hours per week.
