• Provides comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up, and referrals as needed.
• Maintains accurate patient clinical records, charting, medical history, vitals, chart notes, charges, and billing.
• Meets productivity and quality improvement goals, scheduling patients with the Dental Center Coordinator and Chief Dental Officer.
• Assists the Dental Center Coordinator in supervising dental support personnel (hygienists, therapists, students).
• Maintains a safe and disinfected environment by complying with GLBHC Infection Control policies and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Participates in GLBHC Quality Assurance activities, on‑call, and provider meetings as required.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of a U.S. accredited dental school.
• Licensure:
  Licensed to practice dentistry in Michigan and BLS certified.
• Experience:
  
  Relevant dental experience.
• Skills:
  
  Organized, detail oriented, effective communication, efficient typing and computer skills, flexible.
• Interpersonal:
  Ability to communicate professionally with a diverse population, initiative, excellent verbal and written skills.
• Physical Effort:
  Able to sit, stand, walk entire workday; lift, carry, push, pull, twist up to 25 lbs frequently.
• Hours:
  
  Full‑time; flexible and varied; extended hours may be required; consistent attendance required.
• Travel:
  May be required to various GLBHC sites, reimbursement per policy.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
