• Provide services to adults who have serious mental illness and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Conduct an annual biopsychosocial assessment and develop and implement an Individualized Plan of Service.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed and utilize treatment modalities including individual, conjoint, family, and group therapy, as well as case management interventions.
• participate in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Team, act as the therapist for the Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) Team, and participate in other evidence-based practice (EBP) teams as needed.
• Remain accountable to the Deputy Director of Adult Mental Health Services or other supervisory staff designated by the Chief Executive Officer.

Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling is required from an accredited university or college.

Required:

Professional licensure, specifically licensed or limited licensure as a master’s Social Worker, Psychologist, or Professional Counselor, or the ability to attain these credentials within an acceptable time frame.

Required:

A development plan to obtain credentials to provide substance use and integrated dual diagnosis treatment within 2 years of hire date.

Minimum of two years clinical experience, including experience providing case management services, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and counseling for persons with mental illness, co-occurring disorders, or substance use disorders. Knowledge and experience with community resources and various programs available and applicable to the specific needs of persons involved in the criminal justice system and on Assisted Outpatient Treatment Orders or Deferrals.
