Sage Group Health Care Staffing is seeking LCSW Social Worker with Behavioral Health for a 13-week travel / contract position in Owosso, MI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate:
Range $2400 to $2600 Weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Adult Behavioral Health
Shift: 8 Hours;
Days, 7.30a – 4.00p
Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, Mon-Fri, Every 2 nd or 3 rd weekend.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling orrelated behavioral health field from an accredited college or university.
- Required - License Requirements –LCSW or LMSW with Clinical Specialty for State of Michigan
- Required - 2 years of recent experience as Licensed Social Worker / Behavioral Health Therapist - Required
- 1 year of recent / current experience in an acute psychiatric facility or unit - Required (preferably Inpatient)
- Required - Direct experience in therapies,psychosocial assessments, counseling, interdisciplinary team collaboration for treatment planning and administration.
- Required - Must be Covid Vaccinated orprovide medical or religious exemption
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent – Required
- Social Work License (LMSW or LCSWor LICSW) with Clinical Specialty for State of MI – Required
- BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross (Required)
- CPI Certified – Preferred
Job Description:
- The Social Worker is responsible for creating outcomes for the patient and family by managing complex psychosocial and economic comorbidity.
- Provides education and consultation regarding resources,collaborates to develop a discharge plan and facilitates and monitors its implementation.
- Assists patient/family adjust to and cope with illness, diagnosis,treatment options, and prognosis.
- Through advanced practice skills mobilizes resources to reduce risk, serves as a liaison between the hospital and the community.
- In addition, offers crisis interventions to patient/family. Strives for superior performance by consistently providing a product of service to leadership and staff that is recognized as ultimately contributing to the patient and family experience.
- Must be accessible, flexible, knowledgeable, and responsive.
- Perform all other job duties as assigned within scope of practice of units assigned.
- Work with the patient case load as assigned by the facility.
