Hometown Markets is a locally owned and thriving business with three convenience stores, gas stations, and car wash facilities in Owosso, Michigan. We take pride in providing high-quality products and outstanding service, making us a trusted part of our community.

We are currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Store Associates for the Afternoon Shift (2 p.m.–10 p.m. or 3 p.m.–11 p.m.). This role is perfect for individuals who are comfortable working independently, enjoy getting to know customers, and take pride in providing excellent customer service.

As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in keeping our store running smoothly during the busy afternoon and evening hours—assisting customers, handling transactions, and ensuring the store remains clean and well-stocked. • Provide excellent customer service, assisting patrons and processing transactions at the register.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including stocking shelves, emptying trash, and performing light cleaning duties.
• Ensure gas pumps, restrooms, and common areas remain clean and functional throughout the shift.
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Accurately complete shift paperwork and monitor inventory levels.
• Follow all store safety procedures and protocols.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required!

Afternoon Shift: 2 p.m.–10 p.m. or 3 p.m.–11 p.m. (Currently hiring!)

Other shifts may be available, but our priority is filling afternoon positions.
