Overview Of The Position

Provide solutions for all information-related demands of Aerospace Coatings International.

• Design and construct software solutions that meet corporate needs
• Repair or replace computer equipment as quickly as possible to keep downtime to an absolute minimum
• Repair or Reinstall mission critical applications such as Pentagon 2000 SQL, Microsoft Office and any other applications
• Help resolve network (internal and external) and server issues with minimal downtime
• Ensure daily backups are created and restorable
• Provide direction and support for the IS Staff
• Provide monthly backups of the robot instructions
• Proactively check server logs and system resources for early error detection in all applications (SQL, Intranet, Pentagon, System, Security, etc)
• Monitor email closely for service requests or questions from users
• Evaluate, select and implement 3rd party solutions and hardware
• Provide strategy and vision for the Information Services Department.
• Promote the Wencor Core Values within the department and throughout the organization
• Promote product and aviation safety
• Establish, implement, and monitor metrics for the department
• Teach, coach, mentor and develop staff/employees (in their department)
• Integrate ACI's quality management system requirements into the department's processes
• Promote the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking within the department and throughout the organization
• Promote improvement within the department and throughout the organization
• Support other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility
• Enhance customer satisfaction
• All other duties as specified by the company.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• At least five years' experience in computer field.
• Should have advanced software design skills
• Should have advanced full stack software development skills
• Should have experience with virtualized computing environments
• Should have intermediate understanding of cyber security
