Overview
Join to apply for the Plater I role at Aerospace Coatings International, Inc.
Responsibilities- Learn and understand the proper sequences and techniques in the plating process; be responsible for assigned step(s) in the process and report any problems to management.
- Use and be able to read micrometers, c-micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Plate parts to the specifications called for on "Travelers".
- Be familiar with the company computer system, knowing how to clock parts to locations and document the required paperwork.
- Understand how to read and interpret various blueprints
- Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments.
- Develop a clear ability to review various customer procedures for routing conformance.
- Capability of identifying basic metal types; effectively demonstrate the ability to prepare plating surfaces of all parts.
- Effectively demonstrate the ability to paint all parts.
- Effectively demonstrate the ability to tape all parts.
- Effectively demonstrate the ability to rack all parts.
- Effectively demonstrate the ability to grit blast parts.
- Understand the temperature ranges that various plating solutions should run.
- Plate parts to the specifications called for on "Travelers."
- Use proper hearing, eye, hand and foot protection as required. Check to ensure parts are placed in tanks with correct polarity.
- Have knowledge and understanding of the ISO Quality Policy. Have knowledge and understanding of the Control of Non-conforming product. Have knowledge and understanding of the ISO Procedures that apply to your specific area(s).
- Develop a clear ability to review various customer procedures for routing conformance.
- Be capable of identifying basic metal types.
- Efficiently demonstrate the ability to prepare plating surfaces of all parts.
- Effectively demonstrate the ability to paint all parts.
- Convey the ability to tape all parts.
- Successfully demonstrate the ability to rack all parts.
- Establish the ability to grit blast parts.
- Understand the temperature ranges that various plating solutions should run.
