newly hired employees start with a great pay - lining & coating utility pay rate is $23.04 per hour. this is a hourly position with outstanding benefits offerings, vacation, and holiday pay. Employees are eligible for five (40) hours vacation after six (6) months of continuous employment.

essential duties and responsibilities
  • follow all processes and procedures associated with the tyler union safety management program. Advise management of any deviations from this program.
  • operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
  • examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  • observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
  • lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using hoists.
  • count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
  • mark or tag identification on parts.
  • load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
  • help production workers perform duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools or cleaning work areas and equipment.
  • use appropriate tools to finish castings based on quality specifications.
  • clean and lubricate equipment.
  • record information, such as the number of products tested, meter readings, or dates and times of product production.
education and/experience
  • high school diploma or ged certificate (preferred).
  • one (1) to three (3) years of related on-the-job experience required.
  • previous work experience in a foundry or heavy manufacturing environment preferred.

  • knowledge required to perform this job includes production and processing; and mechanical.
