The TJX Companies, Inc. invites applicants to join our dynamic team at TJ Maxx. This entry‑level role focuses on maintaining a clean, organized store environment with an emphasis on floor care.

• Operate scrubber and buffer, dust/mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot‑clean glass and windows.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards.
• Maintain floor‑care cleanliness standards and overall store organization (sales floor, queue, lounge, back‑room, restrooms).
• Refill essential items in lounge, restrooms and front end.
• Cross‑train in other store areas (back‑room, front end, sales floor).
• Support front‑end coverage and respond to cover needs.
• Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Participate in store recovery and loss‑prevention controls, including shrink reduction.
• Communicate accurately with management and associates.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures, including meal/break periods.
• Contribute to safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical stamina for cleaning tasks; able to run floor buffer and scrubber.

• Retail customer‑experience experience preferred.

Starting pay: $12.00 – $12.50 per hour, based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
