Base Pay Range$18.00/hr – $25.00/hr
Position SummaryBackroom Associate responsible for maintaining and processing shipments for the Club in accordance with company policies, developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and handling expenses.
Responsibilities- Maintain and process shipments, develop and post delivery schedules.
- Compile and organize receiving reports, verify merchandise counts.
- Receive merchandise, organize and maintain the receiving area following company procedures and equipment usage.
- Merchandise items and complete required documentation.
- Track and process claims, return damaged goods, handle liquidation merchandise, maintain and clean the clearance area.
- Utilize technology to capture required reporting and documentation.
- Maintain facility safety by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, conduct safety sweeps, forklift spotting, handle hazardous materials, and report unsafe situations.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and apply related action plans using the Open Door Policy.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using available policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to identify priorities and meet deadlines.
- Support and model Walmart values of integrity, ethics, and compliance, and promote a culture of belonging and mutual respect.
- Serve customers and members by delivering results while putting the customer first, making decisions based on reliable information, and balancing short- and long-term priorities.
