Elementary Teacher-Tutor Learning

Join Oxford Learning Bayview Woods as a Teacher-Tutor, engaging students in enriching educational experiences. This part-time role emphasizes language skills and builds self-esteem in learners.

We are looking for dedicated teacher-tutors for the  school year to work with elementary students at our North York center. You will provide instruction in various subjects, following our effective teaching methods, and help students gain confidence in their academic abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to 3 students at a time in elementary subjects

• Utilize established Oxford Learning teaching philosophies

• Provide monthly progress reports and daily updates

• Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for learning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in education

• Experience in teaching or tutoring K-12 learners

• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal

• French teaching capability is a plus

• Commitment to evening and possible Saturday sessions
