French Teacher​/Tutor

Position: French Teacher/Tutor Evening Hours
Showcase your French teaching skills at Oxford Learning North Bay as a part-time Teacher/Tutor. Inspire students during after-school and Saturday sessions with your command of the language.

This role requires a commitment to teach after school hours and on some weekends, ideally extending through the summer. Candidates must be adept in both spoken and written French and should be comfortable working up to Grade 9, with Grade 12 knowledge preferred. Engaging students with effective instructions is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach multiple students at different proficiency levels

• Offer lessons in person and through online platforms

• Adhere to the Oxford Learning teaching methods

• Document notes post-lesson for student progress

• Communicate updates daily regarding student learning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification

• Background in teaching/tutoring French for Grades 9-12

• Proficiency in French and English communication

• Capable of managing multiple learners at once

• Must live near North Bay, Ontario
