Powerlifting Coach High School

Join Oxford High School as a Powerlifting Coach to guide and inspire student athletes. This full-time role emphasizes coaching excellence and promoting a safe, competitive environment.

As an Assistant Coach, you will assist in providing effective training and direction for student athletes in power lifting. The ideal candidate will enforce behavioral standards and ensure adherence to district policies while serving as a positive representative during events. Engage students with skill-building activities and monitor their academic progress to help them succeed both in and out of the gym.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist at practices and competitions with student athletes

• Maintain discipline and emphasize healthy lifestyles

• Organize training events and games for the team

• Guard locker room environments during contests

• Supervise academic standards to meet eligibility

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or teaching certification preferred

• Class “A” Mississippi Teaching License preferred

• Valid CPR/First Aid Card and Driver’s License

• Level 2 Coaching certification required

• Previous coaching experience is favorable
