Empower high school students at Oxford Learning Whitby as a part-time Math and Science Teacher/Tutor. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about mathematics and science, eager to help students thrive.

This role requires commitment during evenings and Saturdays, providing valuable teaching experience without lesson planning. Ideal for individuals who are reliable and passionate about fostering learning in math and science. You will be trained in Oxford Learning's methodologies and work specifically with Grades 9 to 12 curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide up to three students through various subjects

• Teach using Oxford's approved methods and materials

• Fill in post-lesson notes and daily communications

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor

• Engage students to boost their self-confidence

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or similar certification necessary

• Experience tutoring math at Grades 9-12 level

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to multitask effectively with students

• Commitment to work until the term's end
